Context Like, Swipe, Poke, Follow... If our digital world is full of social gestures, we may have forgotten the most iconic of them all: the High Five.

Mission How to restore justice and finally bring the High Five to the digital era?

Idea Gimme—the High Five Glove: a connected glove that tracks and shares every High Five you do.

Gimme's Features

Mmm, at first glance, it just looks like another stupid hipster-friendly product... Now what? Well, the thing is Gimme isn't just a glove. It also tracks and shares every High Five you do.

Once paired with your smartphone, Gimme gives you the strength with which you've just hit your buddy's hand.

Gimme also saves the exact locations where you performed all of your palm smacks.

Each High Five gets instantly shared on your Facebook or Twitter feed, letting all your friends feel the BAM—just like if they were here.

How does it work?

Gimme embeds a Bluetooth Low Energy motion sensor. So once you feel and hear that gratifying BAM of hand upon hand, Gimme does too.

In more concrete terms, a 9-axis accelerometer records all of your hand’s movements and then, here comes the magic. Thanks the beautiful poetry of hundreds of code lines, Gimme is able to make the distinction between what IS a High Five and what is NOT.
